We recognize that all our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice.
We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
As treatment coordinator, it is my goal to greet and welcome new patients upon their arrival to our office, making them feel comfortable as I walk them through all the steps of the orthodontic process. I began my career in orthodontics in 1983 as an orthodontic assistant. In addition to my clinical background of 20 years, I have worked as marketing coordinator and orthodontic treatment coordinator. I enjoy getting to know our patients and doing my best to make them feel welcome and comfortable at each visit. It makes me happy to see the smiling faces on our patients when their braces come off!
When I am away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Some of my hobbies include walking, hiking, gardening, reading, and baseball. During the summer months, my family and I look forward to vacationing at the beach.
I work directly with our patients, whether I’m scheduling and confirming appointments or answering questions in person and over the phone. My favorite part of my job is the day-to-day interactions I have with our patients. They allow me to experience something new every day, and I know when I come to work that I will have an opportunity to help improve someone’s life while being a part of a fun and productive environment. Our office is a fantastic place, not just for our patients, but for our staff as well.
I grew up in Elizabeth, NJ, and currently reside in Westfield with my husband of 20 years and our three children. I have been an enthusiastic kickboxing student for several years and enjoy challenging myself physically. I’m even participating in the Tough Mudder race this year! Of course, I love spending time with my children, family, and friends.
I have assisted our patients with all their contract, scheduling, and insurance needs for 30 years. Working in the field of orthodontics has been a real pleasure. It’s so rewarding to see the smiles on our patients’ faces when they get their braces off, knowing that I’ve helped to make a real difference in their lives.
I put my family first and am fully committed to giving my son a good education and helping him achieve success in anything he does.
In general, I make sure our office runs smoothly from day to day. I work on individual patients’ financial needs or concerns, manage payments, monitor the schedule, and follow up with patients to ensure they begin treatment as soon as possible. My duties are very diverse, and each day brings new challenges. I have found our doctors to be very understanding of the individual family needs of our staff, and they spend a lot of one-on-one time with each patient. They make me very proud to work here.
I greet our patients with a friendly smile, both over the phone and in person at the front desk. I assist patients with all their scheduling needs, in addition to corresponding with referring dentists and handling payments. Our patients are the best, and I love getting to know them and their families. Everyone here is committed to orthodontic excellence provided in a friendly, professional, and caring manner.
Outside the office, I love spending time with my husband, two sons, and three cats. When I have the time I enjoy going on long walks, working in the garden, reading, doing crafts, cooking, and baking.
Registered Dental Assistant
My most important duty as a dental assistant is to make sure that the patient feels comfortable and is happy to be at our office. It can sometimes be a little challenging to maintain healthy oral hygiene with braces, so I do my best to instruct our patients on how to properly clean their teeth. I also sterilize instruments and crop photos that were taken and get them ready for the consultation. Most importantly, I sing when any patient gets braces off! Besides the fact that both doctors are amazing at what they do, they make working fun. We always laugh and have a good time here!
My favorite time of year is summer. I love to spend some time at the beach on my time off. There is nothing like lying out in the sun on a hot day, while listening to the sound of the ocean.
Orthodontic Assistant / CDA
I have a great time with our patients while taking impressions and X-rays, prepping them for adjustments, and giving home-care instructions. Overall, it is my goal to provide outstanding customer service with a smile! I really love having the opportunity to watch our young patients grow up while helping to improve their confidence and smiles. It is also great to work with such professional, excellent, and dedicated doctors from whom I can learn so much. I am truly grateful to be part of a wonderful team.
I was born in Bolivia and speak Spanish as well as English. In my free time, I enjoy photography, dancing, and travel. I also have a cute dog named Pancho.
Registered Dental Assistant
I have passion and enthusiasm for what I do and each day I strive to treat patients with the best possible care. I like being able to work with people! Every day I get to interact with children and adults and I love making our patients feel good about themselves and their beautiful smiles. Gersch Orthodontics has such a wonderful atmosphere. We all have a good time here and we all enjoy what we do; we work together and help each other so that our patients receive the best care possible. This practice is a positive, upbeat, and educational place for people of all ages to come and receive quality orthodontic care.
Outside the practice, I enjoy spending time with my daughter Camila, cooking, baking, working out, and walking our dog, Lucas.
I am responsible for working alongside our doctors, assisting with all aspects of patient care. While I recently joined the Gersch Orthodontics team, I have more than 12 years of experience in the field. Working one-on-one with our patients and building relationships with them make each day really special here. I love seeing the transition of personality changes as our patients’ smiles transform with confidence.
I recently moved to New Jersey after living in Florida for 15 years. My husband Jeff and I have a new son named Thayer, and I have two older daughters, Heather and Lexi, and two grown step-children, Melanie and Rocco. I love being outdoors, enjoying nature, and when stuck inside, working on my crafts.
